R.I.P L'Wren Scott. Check Her Most Memorable Designs.


Yesterday the fashion world lost one of its most known Icons L'Wren Scott after she committed suicide. 

The American model turned stylist turned fashion designer was born in 1964 in Utah. She left her hometown after she finished high school and moved to Paris to pursue her career as a model and changed her name from Launn to L'Wren. She then started modeling for Chanel.

In the early 1990s she moved to California and established herself as a stylist. She styled Elizabeth Taylor for her 'White Diamond' ad, that eventually turned her to one of the most influential celebrity stylist.


In 2006 L'Wren launched her first clothing line 'Little Black Dress' the collection presented array of black dresses including her most famous LBD Headmistress dress that was worn by Madonna, Sarah Jessica Parker, Nicole Kidman and many other celebrities.


Scott collaborated with many brands including Lancome, Banana Republic. She launched her first handbags collection in 2011 at Barneys New York.

Her last fashion show was at London Spring 2014 fashion week, and her Fall 2014 show was canceled.

She was found dead in her apartment a month before her birthday.
